About Loveland High School ADAM Club
The Alcohol,Drugs, Awareness Movement (ADAM) was founded in the 2014-2015 school year at Loveland High School. Our sponsor, Ms. Doty, has ties to Virginia where she lived and worked for ten years. After learning the news of 3 drug and alcohol related student deaths in less than a year's time, she wanted to take action. When Ms. Doty shared the stories to our students, we bought in and wanted to join the cause. Our club was formed in memory of Shelley Goldsmith, an honor roll student, from Virginia. The mission of ADAM is to provide peer to peer drug and alcohol education with the hope of preventing the loss of lives; while also promoting
the quality of life that comes from living a drug free life.
Our members believe that if even one life is impacted; it is worth our efforts!
